Your Good Tour Guide
Assalamualaikum,
Hey, guys! Today I learned about being a tour guide for the tourist. I learned that being a tour guide isn't all about leading a group of tourists in some new places that they don't know, It's more than that. Being a tour guide is about how to become the tourist's new friend that they can rely on to show them some new places they're unfamiliar with.
I also learned to make a text to make me sounds like a reliable tour guide. Do you wanna know what's my line as a tour guide that I have learned? Here's my line!
.
.
.
''Well everyone. Introducing myself, My name is Khalila Azwa Ammara, as your tour guide today, I'd like to welcome you all to Semarang. The bus ride will take about fifteen minutes until it arrives at the bus station and then go to our first destination in Semarang, it is Lawang Sewu. Right now I'd like to take a minute to familiarize you with the area and discuss some brief safety precautions. Firstly, I ask that you remain seated until we reach our destination and that you not eat or drink while on the bus. Secondly, please follow your schedule. Enjoy your vacation.''
''For today, we're going to Lawang Sewu.''
''Lawang Sewu is the place to go if you want to enjoy the beauty of historical building in Semarang. I promise you are going to enjoy your vacation here in Lawang Sewu. This is a beautiful, quiet place where you can relax, enjoy great meals and feel very safe. You can also walk around the place. But please do not wander around the forbidden area there. That is not a safe place to be walking around because of the safety matters.''
Question:
Tourist : ''Excuse me, miss. I wanna ask, what does Lawang Sewu means? Why is it called Lawang Sewu?''
''Well, let me answer your curiosity. Lawang Sewu is a javanese words. Lawang means door and Sewu means thousand. So, that makes Lawang Sewu mean thousand doors. And for why is that place called 'Lawang Sewu' is because it's building has so many doors, so many that makes it look like this place has a thousand doors. Does that answer your curiosity, ma'am?''
Tourist : ''Yes, thank you.''
''Okay, then, we're going to be pulling up to the bus station first, in just a few minutes. Please sit back and enjoy the view of the city as we enter the the bus station. I ask that you remain in your seats until we have come to a complete stop.''
Question:
Tourist : ''Sorry, miss. How about our bags?''
''Yes, sir. My friend, Alex, will be meeting us at the bus stop to help you with your bags. Please double check to make sure your bag has been taken off the bus. As your tour guide, have a wonderful vacation in Semarang and I hope to see you tomorrow at the information session.''
